A large number of rocks, caves, grottos, gorges and lookouts come together to form this nature reserve, which covers an area of 262 hectares and forms part of the Bohemian Paradise protected area. The area has been an attractive destination for many years, not only for tourists but also for rock-climbers. The rock city's name is most likely derived from the word "prach" (dust) as the rocks are believed to have been eroded through deforestation and dry conditions.

We believe that if you visit Prachov Rocks, you will remember the beautiful, rocky scenery for a long time to come.
